The Guide to Giving Figurines as Gifts

April 2nd, 2008

We all know that one person who is simply impossible to shop for. It can be your father, your brother, or just an acquaintance that you don’t know too well. Whether you’re shopping for birthdays or holidays, it’s difficult to pinpoint exactly what they’d like.

Now if you’re like me, giving figurines wouldn’t be your first choice. However, no other gift can cover such a wide variety of people, and I’ve found that there’s a figurine for everyone. There are sports figurines for the sports fanatics, all sorts of animal figurines for pet owners, and plenty of cherub figurines for the angel lovers, just to name a few.

Some more figurines that make great gifts include…
Cat & dog figurines
Golf figurines
Rose and flower figurines
Glass figurines
Buddha figurines

Figurines even make great conversation starters in homes. Once they receive their gift, tell them to put it in highly visible areas for the best effect. They can compliment other items in your home, and even add charm and character to where they live.

And it’s never been easier to find the perfect figurine. With all the different lines of figurines available, it can be overwhelming at times. However, if you know your person well, it shouldn’t take you more than five minutes to find them a great figurine that compliments their personality perfectly.

One final tip- when buying gifts for large groups, such as wedding parties or clubs, figurines are inexpensive options. Many retailers offer large discounts when you buy in volume.

Figurines make thoughtful and sentimental gift ideas for any loved one in your life. Spread the joy that only the perfect figurine can bring!

My wife has recently discovered Willow Tree figurines. At first they seemed much more bland (less detailed) than other figurines but my wife says that the subtleness of the Willow Tree figurines adds to the design of any room without having that “look I am a collectible!” feel to them.

I guess you could say they are more like a “room accent”.

Any way… we have grown to love them and I wonder how many other figurine collectors are interested in them.
